![]() We were actually sad that we only booked 4 nights and we are certainly returning. The décor is beautiful, the pool cabanas are exquisite, and the facelift on the exterior of the building is divine. But now, it feels more like a very high end Four Seasons type resort. I have to say, the Hyatt really took it up a few levels (and it was actually great back then). I had actually stayed at this place when it was newly opened back in 2005 when it was the Capri. I thought I heard that the hotel was fully booked during our stay, but we never ever had any problems finding chairs and space at the pool, beach, and restaurants. The location is absolutely perfect with the outdoor seating over the pool and water. There is something for everyone, especially the exotic fruits. Such a great selection and very good quality food. I’m not a big buffet fan, however, the breakfast every morning at the Comodore was excellent. The sushi at the Tempest was so good, we went back on our last night. I don’t think there was one meal that we didn’t like. It was like we had two special meals instead of one. Now THAT is great service that they did that for us. We kept the leftovers and took it to Lola’s the next day and sat by the pool and had it reheated and ordered some seafood. It was hands down probably our favorite of all. Also, we were a little concerned about the Japanese Wagyu, as we have had it at many high-end restaurants, including STK in New York. Honestly, we actually liked the idea of having a room all to ourselves. It was incredible that they moved us to a private room when it was too windy on the beach to enjoy our meal. ![]() Thank you for handling reservations at the Tempest restaurant and our private dinner. Starting with the communication with you prior to our check-in, until the very last minute, everything was wonderful.
